Background
Project Serotonin has launched its tenth-generation Preventive Health Platform and Precision Health OS to help hospitals, clinics and longevity centres deliver personalised preventive care at scale.
The company unveiled the platform at RISE for Healthy Ageing, the Longevity India Conference, held at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru. The platform brings diagnostics, genomics, blood biomarkers, wearable data, clinical records and practitioner insights into a single care framework.
Project Serotonin said the platform works alongside existing hospital and clinical systems rather than replacing them. It adds a prevention layer that supports risk assessment, care protocols, patient engagement, health monitoring and behaviour change. This allows healthcare providers to focus on preventing disease before it progresses.
The need for preventive care is growing as non-communicable diseases account for nearly 75% of deaths globally, according to the World Health Organisation. In India, such diseases often appear three to 10 years earlier than in developed countries. An EY-FICCI assessment has estimated that effective preventive measures could cut hospitalisations by 20% to 30%.
At the centre of the platform is the proprietary Precision Health OS. It combines genetic risks, biomarker trends, wearable data, lifestyle patterns, medication-related factors, and clinical history into a single health profile. It also includes safeguards for drug interactions, contraindications, escalation pathways and data security.
The system converts this information into personalised care plans through the SRTN Precision Daily Operating System. These plans cover nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management and other health behaviours.
Project Serotonin said its protocols are based on more than 44,000 stratified clinical studies and have undergone real-world pilots. The platform also offers care support through its app, health coaches and concierge teams.
