Mumbai, India | 19 August 2026: Butterfly Learnings, an integrated pediatric behavioral health platform focused on neurodevelopmental care, has raised INR 65 crore in a Pre-Series B funding round led by Inflexor Ventures, with participation from existing investors Enzia Ventures, Insitor Partners, and IIMA Ventures.
The investment will support Butterfly Learnings’ expansion across India, strengthen its technology and digital capabilities, and accelerate the commercial deployment of its early autism screening solution, Get SET Early.
The fundraise comes as awareness of neurodevelopmental conditions continues to grow in India, while access to timely, structured, and evidence-based care remains uneven. Conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and learning disabilities can require coordinated support across diagnosis, therapy, education, and family care. However, fragmented care pathways and limited access to trained specialists can make it difficult for families to navigate the system and secure timely intervention.
Building an Integrated Model for Neurodevelopmental Care
Founded by Dr. Sonam Kothari, a pediatric neurologist and US Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, and Dr. Abhishek Sen, a healthcare entrepreneur and former founder of medtech company Biosense Technologies, Butterfly Learnings was established to address gaps in the delivery of neurodevelopmental care.
Its platform brings together clinical therapy, inclusive education, digital therapeutics, diagnostics, and technology-enabled interventions, with the aim of creating a more coordinated care journey for neurodivergent children and their families.
The company currently operates more than 90 centres across 22+ cities in India. It also operates a behavioral therapist training institute accredited by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE), reflecting its focus on structured training and standardized care practices.
A key component of Butterfly Learnings’ technology portfolio is Get SET Early, an eye-tracking-based autism screening technology for which the company holds an exclusive global license. Following CDSCO approval, the solution is designed to support autism screening in children from the age of one, potentially enabling clinicians and families to identify developmental concerns earlier and consider appropriate intervention.
Funding to Accelerate National Expansion and Technology Development
The new capital will be deployed across several areas of the business, including expanding the company’s center network beyond its existing stronghold in Maharashtra, enhancing its digital and artificial intelligence capabilities, and increasing the availability of Get SET Early through partnerships with hospitals and pediatricians.
Butterfly Learnings also plans to expand its in-house therapist training program and strengthen its ability to deliver standardized, technology-enabled care at scale.
Dr. Sonam Kothari, CEO and Co-founder, Butterfly Learnings, said:
“When we started Butterfly Learnings, the question was never whether families needed support—they clearly did. The challenge was understanding why the system remained so fragmented. A child could receive a diagnosis in one place, therapy somewhere else, and attend a school that had little visibility into either. Butterfly was created to bring these elements together through a coordinated model built on standardized protocols, clinical data, technology, empathy, and transparency. This investment will allow us to extend that model to many more children and families across India.”
Inflexor Backs a Technology-Enabled Healthcare Platform
The investment represents Inflexor Ventures’ continued focus on technology-led healthcare businesses with the potential to address large and underserved markets.
Pratip Mazumdar, Partner, Inflexor Ventures, said:
“Butterfly represents an investment from our Fund III in the specialty healthcare segment. Dr. Sonam Kothari combines clinical expertise with operating experience, while Dr. Abhishek Sen brings the execution capabilities required to translate clinical insight into a scalable business. Together, they have built a platform demonstrating how standardized and outcome-focused care can be delivered at scale. The data generated through the platform, including insights associated with Get SET Early, has the potential to strengthen its technology and clinical proposition as the platform expands.”
Expanding Access to Earlier and More Coordinated Care
With the latest funding, Butterfly Learnings plans to expand its presence across India while developing stronger partnerships with hospitals, paediatricians, and educational institutions. The company also intends to advance AI-enabled care capabilities and expand access to inclusive education and specialised therapy.
The company’s broader objective is to make high-quality neurodevelopmental care more accessible while reducing fragmentation across diagnosis, intervention, therapy, and education.
As Butterfly Learnings moves into its next phase of growth, the company aims to combine clinical expertise, technology, data, and a growing nationwide care network to create a more connected model for supporting neurodivergent children and their families.
