Background

CitiusTech, a leading healthcare technology services provider on the global front, has purchased another company, based in the U.S., Hospital Data Movers (HDM), to enhance its service area of Epic implementations and healthcare system assimilation. It is expected to improve provider operations, fast-track digitalization, and incorporate the intelligence of AI into the operational heart of healthcare.

HDM, a Best in KLAS company, primarily works with Epic Systems, Workday, ServiceNow, and other health care technologies. With more than a decade of experience, the company has delivered large-scale EMR integrations and clinical workflow solutions to leading U.S. healthcare providers.

The deal is consistent with the increasing need to achieve unwavering interoperability and the use of digital tools to help clinicians enhance the care of their patients. Epic, considered the heart of provider IT systems, plays a central role in facilitating data-driven decision-making, advanced analytics, and automation in healthcare.

CitiusTech wants to engage in the HDM strengths and strengths in AI, cloud and automation to provide scalable end-to-end solutions to decrease the complexity and risk of large-scale changes across the healthcare IT landscape.
