We all want healthy, healthy-looking hair and healthy, beautiful skin. The conditioners and creams will start to work too, but it’s what you’re putting into your body. Your hair and your skin show how good or bad you’re taking care of yourself, and the correct diet will make the difference. The correct diet provides your body with what it requires and gives you an inner, long-lasting glow from head to toe.

Omega-3 fatty acids in fish like salmon, walnuts, and flaxseeds fight inflammation in the body and level down redness, acne, dryness, and make the skin smooth. Zinc is a repairing and healing mineral which is required most. Equilibrium zinc in pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, and lentils will stop acnes break-out and equilibrium skimishes. Seeds and nuts provide us with vitamin E, zinc, and omega-3s which stimulate hair growth and healthy skin in us. Spinach, broccoli, and kale provide us with green leafy vegetables packed with vitamins A, C, E, and iron that provide us with healthy-looking skin and healthy strong hair. Clean eating is half the battle. Avoiding sweets, alcohol, and processed foods will cut out breakage that occurs from inflammation in hair and skin.

Good skin care, exercise, sleep, and stress relief are an excellent combination for beautiful skin and beautiful hair. Consistency first and foremost because healing and getting your body put back together from the inside out isn’t a process that happens overnight either. And then there’s diet that plays an incredible role in appearance and overall well-being. Quality, wholesome foods and proper fluidity given to the body gives the body what it needs to grow, repair, and glow. Beautiful hair and skin are not vanity issues. They’re a direct reflection of how well you’re taking care of your inner body. When you’re taking care of your body from the inside out, your own inner light and glow will shine, and you’ll look like you’re well and healthy.
