Background-

Senores Pharmaceuticals plans to invest about ₹43 crore to expand manufacturing in the United States and India and to add a prefilled syringe line, the company said in a filing.

Havix Group Inc in the US will lift annual capacity from 1.2 billion to 2.0 billion units for about ₹18 crore. Apnar Pharma in India will grow from 0.5 billion to 1.2 billion units for ₹20 crore. Ratnatris Pharmaceuticals will add a prefilled syringe line of 2.7 million units a year for ₹5 crore.

Internal accruals and IPO proceeds will fund the plans. The Havix plant runs at roughly 50 to 70 percent of its current capacity, so the new lines prepare Senores for future demand.

The company held 58 approved ANDAs as of June 2026, up from 30 a year earlier, and has launched 23, according to Trade Brains. The US made up about 71 percent of June quarter sales. In Q1 FY27, revenue rose about 36 percent to ₹180.21 crore, and net profit gained about 42 percent to ₹30.45 crore.

The US unit adds American manufacturing as policy favors local production, and analysts have pointed to proposed tariffs on imported generics. Prefilled syringes also help buyers by cutting dosing errors and preparation time.

Many mid-sized Indian generics makers now build in both India and the US. Capacity, compliance and delivery formats are expected to be key themes at India Pharma Expo 202
