Mumbai, India – August 5, 2026: Livlong 365, a digital-first health-tech and wellness platform, has announced the launch of Livlong SurgiCare, a dedicated surgery care coordination service designed to support patients throughout their elective surgery journey. The service aims to simplify the often-complex process of planning and undergoing surgery by offering personalized guidance from diagnosis through recovery.
SurgiCare has been developed to address the logistical and administrative challenges many patients and their families encounter after receiving a recommendation for surgery. From selecting hospitals and specialists to managing insurance approvals and post-operative care, the service provides a single point of coordination intended to reduce complexity and improve the overall patient experience.
Under the new offering, every patient is assigned a dedicated SurgiCare Manager who coordinates the entire treatment journey. The care manager assists with scheduling medical consultations, collecting and organizing diagnostic reports, identifying suitable hospitals and surgeons, facilitating admission and discharge procedures, supporting cashless insurance approvals, and arranging post-surgery services such as nursing care and physiotherapy when required.
The service is built around four key stages of the surgical journey: pre-surgery support, in-hospital coordination, insurance claims assistance, and post-operative recovery and follow-up care. Livlong 365 has also established a network of accredited hospitals and experienced surgeons to support patients across multiple specialties.
Commenting on the launch, Gaurav Dubey, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Livlong 365, said:
“When patients are advised to undergo surgery, the medical decision is often only the beginning of a much more challenging journey. Families frequently have to navigate hospital selection, treatment costs, insurance approvals, and care coordination while coping with the emotional impact of illness. SurgiCare was created to provide patients with a dedicated care coordinator who can guide them through every stage of the process, allowing them to focus on recovery while we manage the operational aspects of their treatment.”
Livlong SurgiCare currently supports more than 50 elective surgical procedures, including gallbladder removal, appendectomy, hernia repair, cataract surgery, joint replacement, kidney stone treatment, hysterectomy, prostate surgery, angioplasty, bariatric surgery and selected cancer surgeries.
The company stated that patients can access an initial consultation and care guidance without charge, enabling them to understand available treatment options before proceeding with surgery.
The launch further expands Livlong 365’s integrated healthcare ecosystem, which already includes online doctor consultations, diagnostic services, home healthcare, wellness programs, outpatient (OPD) services, medicine delivery, and insurance distribution. With the addition of SurgiCare, the platform aims to provide continuity of care across the patient’s healthcare journey, from preventive health management to advanced medical interventions.
As healthcare delivery increasingly shifts toward patient-centric and digitally enabled models, services such as surgery care coordination are emerging as an important component in improving access, reducing administrative burden, and supporting better treatment experiences for patients and caregivers.
